Personal Pathfinders
Students in a sunlit classroom listening to a guest speaker

Every future begins with curiosity

Real stories. Real paths.

Volunteer classroom visits where top industry leaders share the true story behind their career starting from their seat.

The setbacks, the turning points, the actual path. Not the résumé version.

How a visit works

One classroom. One honest conversation.

A leader walks in and shares the real path, setbacks included. Students ask anything. A teacher holds the space. For many students, it's the first time they've met someone who does the work they're only beginning to imagine.

Not a career day. Career day is a one-off showcase that can be twenty minutes at a booth, forgotten by lunch. Personal Pathfinders is a structured, repeatable classroom conversation that goes deep, uses compelling video and visuals, is faith-framed, and starts where the students are at.

  1. The school choosesTeachers pick the story that fits what they're already teaching that month.
  2. The leader tells the truthThe real turning points, the year they almost walked away. The story behind the title.
  3. Students ask anythingQuestions lead the conversation. Curiosity does the rest.

Take a seat

Three seats. One room.

Students listening in a classroom
"I didn't know that job existed."

Volunteer classroom visits where top industry leaders tell you the true story behind their careers.

  • Discover careers you didn't know were possible.
  • Hear the real path: the setbacks and turning points, not the résumé version.
  • Ask your questions and see what your next step could be.

Career day is breadth: twenty minutes at a booth. This is depth: one leader, one real story, your questions.

The view from the front of a classroom
This is what it looked like from my side of the table.

You're at the front of a classroom. Twenty-eight kids, none of whom chose to be there. You have forty minutes. What do you say?

Nobody's asked you in years: what did it cost you to get here? Kids don't care about the title. They care about the scar tissue. And when you say it out loud in front of twenty-eight teenagers, something shifts in you too. This will remind you who you are.

The contractor who started with nothing. This is what it looked like from my side of the table.
The pastor who almost quit. This is what it looked like from my side of the table.
The CEO who failed twice before it worked. This is what it looked like from my side of the table.

Panelists are invitation-only. A curated circle of CEOs, founders, and people with remarkable, hard-won stories, invited because they've lived something worth hearing. If you've been invited: it's one visit, we handle screening and scheduling, and you're not teaching. You're just telling your story.

We don't take open sign-ups. Know someone whose story belongs in this room? Tell us about them, and we'll decide whether to extend an invitation.

A teacher's view from the back of the classroom
This is what it looked like from my side of the room.

You're at the back of your own classroom. Twenty-eight kids who usually won't raise their hands are leaning forward. What do you do with that energy on Monday?

  • Career readiness. It's on your dashboard, and this delivers it without adding to your plate.
  • Curriculum comes alive. When a tradesperson explains load-bearing walls, suddenly geometry matters. You didn't plan it. You didn't grade it. It might be the lesson they remember in ten years.
  • Your teachers meet people. A door into the community that doesn't close when the bell rings.

You help choose who's in the room. Based on the story, and on what your teachers are covering that month. The visit plugs into a lesson you're already teaching. Our curated speaker list is available on request.

Every panelist is personally invited and screened by us. You keep the schedule. You decide if it's worth the period.

From our founder

"I grew up with limited options. Education and the people I met opened every door."

During COVID, schools were hurting and teachers were in crisis. I had no time and no reason to be there, but it mattered too much. So instead of complaining, I chose to serve: substitute teaching once a month, then once a week. It showed me what was missing: students who need real examples, leaders who want to matter, and schools trying to build something strong. Personal Pathfinders is that connection.
